Chiang Saen Port is situated on the bank of Mekong River, Chiang Khong District, Chiang Rai Province. The berth is width 24 meters and length 180 meters.  The front of the port is adjacent to the Mekong River opposite of Moueng Houy Sai, Bor Kaew District, People's Democratic Republic of Laos. On the back is the road linking Chiang Saen and Chiang Kong Districts.
